Im using an HVLP spray gun, and Ill be renting a spray booth facility for the actual painting. Initially Ill just be painting the engine bay, but I bought enought paint to do the whole car. Usually, the minimum requirements for paint sprayers is to have a 6HP 40+Gal compressor with substantial line dryers, or use an HVLP turbine.M1ke said:
The hard part is all the prep work TBH, im practicing on my bronco first, and I have a few friends who are very good at paint, and theyll be walking me through what I need to do before I tackle the whole car. I figure the engine bay is the least important part to be perfect, so if I mess anything up, its not the end of the world. If you havent noticed, im pretty meticulous, so i can assure you that even though I am inexperienced with paint, it will be well documented and im pretty confident it will turn out well
