Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. I just bought an '02 MKIII and my first order of business is getting the stereo up and running. It appears that the previous owner installed an Alpine CDA-9886 head unit and two Polk db651 speakers in each door, but removed the amp before selling. I know that these are each 60w RMS (180w peak) and I've been considering picking up this Pioneer GM-A6302 400w amp to power them (2x 60w RMS, 200w peak). However, I'm unsure of how the tweeters should be wired to the system. Are those typically run directly off the head unit or from the amp? If they are run from the amp, will that Pioneer amp be enough to get the most out of both the tweeters and the upgraded door speakers? Some help would be greatly appreciated!
