I have always wonderd what the rarest color/engine/roof configuration is available in the U.S im pretty sure the rarest are 95's but what combination of color/interior and engine?
where are you people getting your numbers?posted by Joey rVa
the 3(?) convertable mk1s?
I don't for a second doubt they told you this but is it really true, do you think? My hunch is that somewhere in the bowels of Toyota, in either the U.S.A. or Japan or both, there is raw data consisting of serial numbers, production records, export documents, import documents, codes respecting serial numbers, etc., from which somebody could figure out exactly how many 91s with x factory options and 94s with y factory options were sold in this country or that country if - and this is the key thing - IF somebody thought it was worth expending the effort deciphering and collating the data.posted by Tuna
FYI, Toyota USA doesnt have any of these numbers documented....they do not have the number of 94 hardtops sold documented or any other weird configuration... but nobody really knows for sure the exact numbers....unfortunately for us, Toyota didn't keep records, however, and all this information was lost over the years after the MR2 went out of production
they were made, therefore i bought.Originally posted by AtomicMR2
I'd have to say 95 hardtop. From what I have heard they didn't make them. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I was under the impression that the MKIII hardtops were an option. You can purchase it to replace the convertible.posted by travis brecher
