I actually first had the idea about 12 years ago when I bought my 02 wrx wagon, wanting "WHRLWND".

...but like an idiot i posted it in a strong like this and within a week it was gone (in CA), as well as all other variations, WYRLWND, WIRLWND, etc.

Guess I lucked out, getting what would have been my second choice (never thought to use the "1") twelve yrs later. Only posted again cause my plates are already on the way. Maybe someone in another state may like it too.

How about we all chip in to cover the cost of the personalized plate, but we also get to suggest, pick, and vote on the outcome?

My BMW forum did this for a member there. That's how this happened.
