'92 Mr2 turbo, red, t-top, manual, 115k, no rust crash or mods. Second owner and picked up in 1995. Issues 1) sound system inoperable 2) think an electric short fixed but don't trust my meter 3) previous owner had it detailed often and clear coat is pretty well buffed off the top portion and upper sides (takes wax very well) 4) tach just started reading incorrectly.
Pros 1) interior very good with worn spot on side of drivers seat and shifter boot worn. new parts history. 1) 5/99 with 95,700k new timing belt, main bearing seal water pump pulleys, flush, fill coolant. 2) 06 at 109k clutch kit, master cylinder and clutch cylinder, new used transmission, still have the old one if wanted. 3) 7/24 at 112,200 valve cover gasket with Twos R Us bolts, rebuilt calipers with new brake pads, front, rear suspension links, KYB excel struts all around with front strut mounts and all new bellows, coolant change, dist cap rotor and plug wires. 4) new yokohama tires have 2k miles. also have the curtains for the T-tops and the original bags for them. Have the original owners manual and the BGB that goes with the car.
Asking for some advice about fair price. Posted price there because had to put in number. Hate to see it go but old bones grouch about driving for about an hour. Many thanks to all who over the years who have contributed to this forum and helped so much with tips an tricks to keep our wonderful cars on the road!

Price seems fair considering long term ownership and maintenance history.
MK2 non-metallic colors were not clear coated, so there is no clear coat to buff off. But they do get to a point where a buff/wax doesn't seem to last very long. This would probably be a good candidate for a paint correction + professional ceramic coating to keep it looking good for longer.

Sound system could be the head unit, or the system amplifier, if so optioned. Tach malfunction is a known MK2 issue and can be fixed - info can be found here on the board.

You might want to mention what other options the car has, such as power windows, cruise control. And if the AC still works, or not.

GLWS.

Thanks for the response.. The car has power windows, cruse, ABS and A/C that all work, no power steering. Have been looking at the tach issues on the forum and they are very helpful, actually the forum has been very helpful over the years.. Did not know they did not have clear coats, that could be an interesting issue to explore...Once again thank you. Lardog
