Production Numbers by Year, Color, Turbo/NA, and Roof

I've done some research to come up with production numbers for MR2s. These numbers come from ToyoDIY.com, which somehow has a database of worldwide Toyota production beginning around 1990. The numbers below include only North American sales (USA and Canada).
These numbers are not absolute, as the ToyoDIY database contains data for all chassis numbers produced. Some small number of cars produced each year are used for engineering research, crash testing and corporate promotional purposes, and are never sold to the pubic.

As you can see, there were 125 black non-T-top turbos sold for the 91 model year. So yes, for the turbos, T-Top cars are much more numerous in USA. The ToyoDIY database doesn't distinguish between true hardtop cars and those with the sunroof option. The split seems to be about 50/50 for those.

HTH.

I need to clarify
1) The turbo "sunroof" column includes all non-T-top turbo chassis. That is both hardtop and sunroof cars. I listed them in separate columns since for 1993 I actually was able to determine how many were sunroof and how many were hardtops. But within my spreadsheet, for 91 & 92 model year I just left them all in the "sunroof" column for now.

2) The "Bennett" data from the MR2 Wiki is sales numbers by calendar year, NOT model year. Note it lists 17606 MK2s in the 1990 column, but as we all know, there were no model year 1990 MR2s sold in USA. However Toyota did start selling the MK2 in March of 1990 as a 1991 model year car.

Don't know the split between hardtop and sunroof equipped cars.
As the table shows, 234 Nautical Blue NA hardtop + sunroof cars were sold for 91 model year.
Maybe 100 were hardtops? Dunno.

I had one of the 65 hardtop/sunroof Signal Yellow 91 NAs that I put a 1mz in. It was a hardtop mostly stripper (only options were AC, CC and PS).
