My wife is the original owner of a 1993 2.2l beauty. This past Saturday we attended our first car show ever, the JCCS in Long Beach. We had never been to a car show, let alone enter her vehicle in it. We had so much fun, it will be a regular part of our yearly plans and will look for other shows to enter. I did what I THOUGHT was a good restoration (motor rebuild, paint, upholstery, trim etc) of the car back in 2020 but quickly realized there is so much more I can do. The ultimate goal is to make is look like is just rolled off the lot. This isn't going to be a molested MR2, it going to be bone stock with a few safety mods for her (backup cam, dash cam and LED headlights). I'm looking forward to chatting and find some of those hard to get pieces to bring her car back to its original glory.
If you were at JCCS, you definitely saw us because there were only four MR2s and only ours was stock. Gordy turned us on to this site.
