Is this OE head gasket OK ?

Hi,

I purchased few parts and did select the Toyota OE MLS head gasket for GEN4-5 engine (4 is what I have) but I want to double check is this design is OK? Some water jackets holes are sealed-blocked by the MLS gasket and some are half use etc.

Unfortunately I don’t have the original old HG as the head was removed long time ago for a rebuild and vapor blasting cleaning etc so no way to compare what it had the engine when I did purchase it.

I’m not sure about gen 4, but the gen2 OEM (non mls) gasket has an arrow that points to the front (timing side). Is that an arrow in the bottom left corner there?
Also, at least on the gen2, the gasket can be inadvertently installed backwards with most of the passages similarly partially covered/open (ie near mirror image and apparent fitment) BUT there is a oil orifice I believe on the exhaust side by the cylinder closest to the rear (ie transmission side) that is only open if the gasket is installed the right way.

Here is how mine went on. Most of the time the gasket blocks some of the coolant passages so they don't have to change the block in different applications.

Thanks guys! Seems like it will fit w/o problems, aka, work w/o issues.
