It's probably a good time to mention that the stock TRD supercharger does not even let the MKII engine lid close. i suspect you'd have even less luck with the MKI. For the test mule car i'm just going to run one of Paul Woods' engine lids for the clearance, you guys will see it in a few days.
Just as well I've got an F40 style lid sitting here!

Marc - do you know the part number of the correct Lotus supercharger that will fit? Want to go get some prices and check availability.

Thanks

The lower kit Gouky, am I correct in saying this will be needed regardless of what supercharger I decide to go for (ie, TVS 1320 or the other option, was that a TVS 1900 or am I confusing myself?)

I hope this intermediate solution using lotus/trd parts satisfies the people that absolutely want a supercharger right now. If this flops it'll be rather depressing given how many hours went into this.
I think it's going to depend on TVS 1320 availability, there's none on ebay UK at the moment and nothing in the UK forums at the moment.

Money sent for pre buy on the lower kit. The upper kit will depend on if I find a reasonable priced TVS 1320 or an easier to find alternative with a revised upper mount you'll be working on later.

Just thought I'd take a look at Rotrex superchargers, they are available brand new in the UK for what I think are reasonable prices:

Rotrex Superchargers | Car Superchargers and Motorbike Supercharger Ki

C38-61 SUPERCHARGER
(Part Number 1072)
ÂŁ1,765.00

C38-71 SUPERCHARGER
(Part Number 1241)
ÂŁ1,765.00

C38-81 SUPERCHARGER
(Part Number 1072)
ÂŁ1,765.00

C38-91 SUPERCHARGER
(Part Number 2025)
ÂŁ1,915.00

C38-92 SUPERCHARGER
(Part Number 2051)
ÂŁ1,915.00

So that's the supply issue for me (and UK guys) sorted out assuming this is the route you eventually go down Marc.

Just out of interest, what's your gut feeling for timescale of bringing the Rotrex solution to market? I've got some leads on a couple of TVS1320's now, the price on one I think is too high, the other I'm waiting for the chap to come back to me. If his price is too high then I may abandon the TVS1320 idea and wait for the Rotrex which can be had new for decent money as I posted above.

Great news Marc. Hang on to my lower bracket for the moment, I'm still hoping to finalise a deal on a supercharger (the one I messaged you about, he may have the lower inlet manifold, and I've also got another one lined up, this time with a lower inlet manifold and uprated blue injectors, just not sure on price at the moment) so if my lucks in I'll be buying an upper mount kit as well :)

The heavy lifting for this kit is definitely the pulley set and the turbine mount. The rest - intercooler and intake, Rotrex oil cooler and reservoir, would be DIY'able for me.
If you put it like that, I'm the same. As I've got an f40 lid I've no space constraints so would likely use a larger intercooler or charge cooler than others. All that kind of stuff I can do myself.

That said, I'm going to put more effort soon towards the ECU. The TRD tune was a bit lackluster and frankly the stock tune feels much better. With the work I'm doing on the MKIII 2AR-FE kit I plan on following that up with a turbo option and that will require me to dig into the ECU and finally find the fuel injector sizing stuff. There's a good chance that the work there will get ported back to the 2GR.
Music to my ears!! (The ECU!)
