Changing the rear Spats out

So I never really liked the greddy rear spats... but it came with the whole kit from greddy when I got it, so I used the whole thing to keep the theme.

Since the car has evolved a bit, I figured it is about time i ditch these out for something that looks a bit better.

So I picked up these rear spats of a board member. I need to figure out how to install them with the widebody I have so I will need to play with them.

Started with the greddy spats and Carbon kevlar diffuser removal:

I need to either cut the side of the spats down so the asksport widebody fits with the rear spats and the bumper, or fiberglass hair in, a little to transition the spats over the bumper and widebody.. any suggestion, or just another way of looking at it would be appreciated. I am undecided how I will fit these.

I really can not decide what I should do, can anyone suggest how to install these?

I am debating cutting the edge off by the tire so it will fit the asksport, Or filling in the gab with fiberglass hair...... ughhhhhh opinions please!

I'd say cut the edge nearest the wheel well so you can get it to flush better with the fender arch and minimize the amount of glassing you need to do to make it look good. It looks like it would fit against the bumper much better if you did it that way too.
