Was parked on the street overnight with rain. Sputters but won’t turn over. Some white smoke from the air intake. Any ideas?

3sgte or NA? When I used to have an NA, rain or car wash the motor was stumbling or died. Turned, the distributor connector wires was frayed dues to prolong oil leaks.

Do you have the metal tray thing on your engine lid still? I can't remember what its called, but its vital if you ever leave your car outside, or drive in the rain.

Either bad coil, or bad distributor.

It’s a 3sgte. I ordered a new distributor cap and rotor. I’ll check on those things as well. Thank you!

Yep check the coil and then distributor

My 85 NA use to do that when it rained a lot because the water tray under the lovers would overflow and fill the spark plug holes with water.
