For road racing, will a stock set of 91T brakes mated with SS lines, good pads, and high temp fluid give me relaible stopping power? I'm going to be pushing about 250-260whp. . .

Should I go for the 93+ upgrade or will this do the trick?

Sounds like you and I are in the same boat...I have a 92T with goodrich ss lines, porterfield pads, new rotors, and valvoline dot 4 synthetic fluid. I plan on running on a few tracks this year starting april 1st at mid-ohio and then on to NA2005. I think the brakes will hold up fine but you may want to bring a spare set of pads to get home :)

I raced a road course on stock 91T brakes.... even stock pads.... and when the pads weren't faded to hell.... it stopped great. With the stock pads I had to cruise one lap slow about every three laps to let them cool down a bit. The stopping power was fine though.
