Colud someone tell me what offset is needed for the rear of a widebody mr2 with 18X8inch rims. Hows does the offset work. I see 20mm is good for rear, but im confused. Why do the front have a larger offset. Doesnt make sense to me.

The lower the offset the more the rim sticks out toward the fender. You want to stagger your wheels for performance and look. If your only option is 18 x 8 all around make sure you get wider tires in the rear for handling.

with an 18x8 rim in the rear, you'd probably want to go with something like a +10, but why go with an 18x8? seems kinda strange to go widebody and not go with a wider wheel fitment.

18x8 should be your front wheel, with +25 or so offset

18x10 rear would be better, with something like a 30 offset

this will give you the most wheel possible, and still give you a flush fitment.
