i searched and it left me with more questions than answers. i want to remove the cc, i read two differnt things. do you have to buy a throttle cable from a non cc car or will the cable i have now work? also where is the cc computer at?

I was wondering about the same thing. There seems to be 2 sections of the cruise control. One is right next to the intercooler and the other is past the shock mount and close to the trunk. The one that is close to the trunk has the actuator in it. The other one is more of a servo connector assembly for the section of cable that runs back into the cabin of the car and the cable that runs to the cruise control. Something like that.... I'm going to keep digging through these posts to see if I can find more info.

maybe a newb question here -- but why do you wanna remove the CC ?? Does its componets add lots of weight or something??

well,.. to my understanding you will have to buy a non cc cable because i have cruise control and i know for a fact if i remove thoes 2 boxes in the right side of the bay the throttle cable coming from the pedal wont reach,. thats common sence right there. The bgb will tell you where the cc ecu is. I cant remember off hand.

yep, noticed that while install my intercooler. may just use some bike brake line parts to extend the cable....

i removed mine just fine? didnt have to get a new cable or anything? i just removed the computer , not the pulley/roundhouse thing that the cables go to
