I've used both. The 6000's are a good bit less expensive, and I do not know how much better the competition plus valves are. There's not much info readily available to justify the purchase of the competition plus valves, IMHO.
That being said, the last 3 motors I built are using the plus valves.
Just be sure you go oversized. Larger valves are worth every penny spent on replacing the seats!
