if my piston rings are fried like i suspect, im going to have to remove the head. I am planning a ct-27 and about 250whp. i would like to follow the 60-70% rule so what head gasket should i use? will oem be alright?

from what I understand metal headgaskets are only necessary when you deck blocks and need to make up for the metal you shaved off but if there is a thin metal headgasket it wouldn't hurt to upgrade a bit. I myself have the TTE headgasket ATS sells but I did get my block decked.
