Hi, I'm in the process of getting my car painted. I've assembled all exterior cosmetic parts, such as the wing, etc. But none of these parts have the bolts, brackets, gaskets, etc. for them at all. I don't think there's an easy way to find these parts, is there?

That was a warning for you to be on the lookout for scammers. TwoRUs has reproduction gaskets for the front spoiler and aero side skirts if that's something you need. What "brackets" are you talking about? Best to be specific here.

Thanks! Sorry I misunderstood. Basically I bought an AW11 with no cosmetic parts affixed at all. I now have what is pictured below, but without any screws, bolts, fasteners, etc. I‘m also still learning the vocabulary for these parts, but here’s what I believe every part is called:

front lips
front spoilers
grille
side skirts
side skirt triangles
mudflaps
rear wing with LED light

You can use the online EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog) to find the part number for everything:

Japanese cars online catalogs

Spare parts online electronic catalogs for Toyota, Lexus

www.epc-data.com

Select the Toyota | USA selection in the upper left. Then "MR2". Then "AW11L". Then select any of the "complecations". Any will do since the body stuff you're interested in is common to any 87+ MK1. Navigating to find the right section can be tricky at first.

Most of the nuts & bolts are still available since they are "generic" parts used on many models.

There are wedge shaped plastic screw inserts that are used for the side skirts (4 per side). I think the part number is 90189-06064. They're critical to mounting the side skirts properly, so don't use generic ones there.

The black plastic/rubber molding strips that go between the side skirts & car body should be removed before painting the skirts, then re-installed later. Having them sprayed body color just makes the car look like it got a quicky repaint w/o masking them. Same goes for the molding strips on the front spoiler

-Finding pinstripe decals is almost impossible now, isn't it? It looks like they're discontinued everywhere.
-By "moulding," are you referring to the black area I circled?

By molding, I mean the thin rubber strips (or "gaskets") that go between the spoiler / side skirts and the car's sheet metal. TwosRUs sells reproductions for those.

I've heard there's a fellow in the UK making reproduction decal sets.
