Tri-State Sports Car Council is bringing back "Die-Hard", our traditional
very-early-season non-points autocross.

We'll be at Miller Park in Milwaukee on March 5th, rain, snow or shine. See
http://www.tsscc.org for the flyer with more information.

Online registration will open ( at http://register.tsscc.org ) tonight or
tomorrow.

$30 if you pre-reg, $35 on-site.

I'm chairing the event, and designing the course... so I will try to be available, but
I may have to deputize a friend of mine to actually hold your hand.

Dave, whats a good Street/track tire since I can't really afford to have just race tires and the fact that I drive to most events with the track tires on? I need new ones.

I like mine, too, but I wouldn't have bought them if I didn't have stock 14s. There are better tires available in 15" and up sizes. The best, IMO, are Bridgestone S-03s, as long as you don't mind spending ~$700 for a set.

Unfortunately, there won't be a Kumho MX size that'll work for you. I've got them on my wife's WRX, and am very happy with them. My second choice would probably be BFG KDs, which do come in useful 15" sizes, and are a little cheaper than the S-03s ( not much, though ).

Bump, just so people don't forget about it while we want for online
registration to open. I don't know what the delay is, but it's pissing me off.
