I remember seeing a 'how to' for stripping down the glass T-bar panels. I think Sarge did it, but as his site isn't running anymore did anyone save a copy?

From memory..

Remove phillips screw at each end of plastic casing.

Pop off the lever end of the handle with a flat screw driver.

Pry back the plactic trim from the rubber side of the t-top (carefully). The plastic case will need to be pulled back at least 1/4". Just enough to clear the two metal retaining clips.

Remove casing and then unbolt the glass from the side frame.

Cheers Jody,

I'm replacing the glass from a spare set with either plastic, fibreglass or CF for track days.

Good point Kirk, being 6'4" it can be a bit of a squeeze with a helmet on! The only problem is that it tends to p!ss down with rain 8 days out of 10 in the UK and I'd like to keep the seats dry(ish). Some tracks are a little skittish about the amount of glass in the t-bar so prefer you to leave them behind.

Azmr2 I'll get back to you on that one once I've dimantled them!
