I am thinking about buying a n/a 91 mr2 and sticking the 3rd gen sw20 3sgte. I was wondering how much this will cost and is it a smart way to go.

depends on your power goals. 3500+shipping for the gen3 + parts like clutch, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, timing belt, and water pump. and who knows what your mechanic is going to charge for an install. i have the gen3 and i'm very satisfied.

5000 is what my 93 LSD 3sgte swap is going to cost with me doing labor and a lot of other things. Like clutch and fidanza fly wheel and miscellanous costs. The clip is about 2750 dollars and shipping is killer on me. A 3rd gen from the same place is 3750. Just go and ask for some price qoutes and shipping information to certain places.
