Um,... my cylinders have 200psi each,... what compression #'s is that??? example 10:5:1 or something to that nature.... anyone know? lets not post links

I am not positive, but I don't think your compression test numbers are related to your compression ratio.

i saw in some post they were comparing the two so i figured they were related,. he had like 275psi and 10:1 or something? i dono

Thats a good site explaining how to calculate you compression ratio. It's very in depth.

Compression numbers are greatly affected by valve overlap. There's Static compression ratio (the advertised number), and dynamic compression ratio (the ratio that actually happens when the engine runs).
