Wont crank just clicks and the volt meter goes down. I am about to get under it with a screwdriver and hit it and have someone crank the car. ITs a 91 N/A. Just got a car wash and the undercarage wash is what i feel is to blame.
That is what I told him via AIM...I guess he doesn't like that idea. :lol2:
However in all seriousness...you can diagnose a bad starter by hitting it while someone trys to crank it. If it starts up when you tap it with a screwdriver...it means the starter is crapping out.
I just don't have a second person and i am at home and shuld be at school :-D. Nothing like having the car on jacks. Was intresting to have 2 north shore girls pushing my car down a parking lot. If i didn't havea stick i would be screwed.
funny,. im having the same problem as you... I cant figure it out either, if i knew i would tell you.. Something similar happened to my honda, it was the battery but im not too sure about the mr2.. best of luck to you.
lol reminiscent of my freinds 4runner when he came down this past weekend, his contacts are going bad, it could be those as well. but its probably just getting stuck if theres a draw but its not doing anything.
