In searching I found that some people have converted to shimless buckets. What I did not find specifically is what engine they are getting the buckets from. One thread said something about the buckets from the 1ZZ-FE, but it said that it was not reliable for high high spinning engines.

Here is my problem. Had my head surfaced, valve seats cut and the valves reground, cams polished and new valve guides installed. My shims are now not with in specification, surprise, surprise. SO, I need to either get new shims or convert to a shimless design.

The main question I have is: What engine can I get the shimless buckets from (even if I have to buy them new)?

Any other information or ideas welcome. Note, I would rather not buy another head.

Thanks,
Nate
