at what point does the car become less reliable for daily driving and more "track" oriented? is it 300whp,400whp or 500whp? i know Jeff used to drive his car to the track, run and drive it home. all of us are trying for those big numbers but at what sacrifice? it owuld be nice to see the "big number" guys comment....

If you build it right, it can be just as reliable. I personally am building my car for over 600RWHP easily, but am only planning on using about 55% of those capabilities about 90+% of the time, then about 66% of those capabilities about 9% of the time, and then about 85-90% of those capabilities 1% of the time.

Cheap - Fast - Reliable. Pick two.
