Looking to replace the inner tie rod end for a 93, with the minimum of fuss.

There are after-market options available for the entire tie-rod (Hux Racing looks good!), and if you really want to you can cobble together a inner tie-rod assembly from components (possibly Speedway Motors or other suppliers have everything needed!) - but does anyone know the answer to this question:

Is there any reason why the 91-92 inner tie rod end, listed in the Toyota parts catalog, does not fit on a 93+ assembly? Aside from the pre-and post complete tie rod being different in length, are there any salient differences (dimensions, threads) that make the inner ends incompatible? They don't look that different in the diagram - but the parts catalog references the 93+ tie rod as "Serviced as complete assembly" only (48730F and 48740F), while the 91-92 inner end is listed separately (48730A). The question is moot (or at the least, purely academic) if they are both NLA.

The images online are all annoyingly low resolution, but the inner appears to be where the length difference is.
