Is there a mounting bracket that goes with that? Or am I thinking of MK1s?

No, there's no mounting bracket. It was held in with 4 screws.

Are there any scratches or damage? Does the latch work properly?

No scratches or damage. Latch works perfectly, and the hinges are good.
