I'm trying to figure out why I can't get my rebuild started.

I assume if I'm getting spark, then the stock ECU knows the motor position to control the fuel injector.

I'm going to scope the injector and was wondering what the duration should be and how may crankshaft degrees it should start?

I have fuel pressure and my timing is set.

There are several inputs that influence pulse width (A/F ratio). The coolant temp sensor, the IAT sensor, and the O2 sensor are primary ones. There is no "standard" duration.

Bill, I realize that. I just trying to determine if I'm "close". If it should be 5 to 10 ms and I measure 1ms then I know I have a problem.

I know the EMS turners setup the "Startup" fuel maps and was wondering what their settings are.

Also, I'm assuming that the Stock ECU uses the distributor to determine angular postition for both the spark and the injectors. Correct?
