Hi there, I have a question. I have a 91 turbo with an exhaust leak (right before the turbo). I can hear the ticking noise while accelerating during cold. However, once it warms up to the operating temperature, the ticking noise is gone and the car accelerates fine at 15 psi.

Does that mean the exhaust leak goes away when the engine is warm? Or does it still leaks very little?

It means that normal phenomenon called thermal expansion is taking place. As the head warms up and the manifold warms up, thye both expand. So if the parts get bigger, the leak gets smaller., or seals up.
