Hello allz, well i was pulling my ebrake up, i pulled on it so hard, as pulling it up so hard it like poped out of place, like a spring came out of place sound. Its because i puled on it so hard i think i broke it. so now when i pull up the ebrake its so light and doesnt work.. how shall i get it back in place.. thanksss .

all the cables are located underneath the plastic panels under the car. a lift would be helpful but jackstands and patience will work too. remove these and look for damage. most likely the pin that connects both left and right cables to the main handbrake cable either released or broke. or more expensively you broke the cable itself. good luck

MR2FUN, you probably broke the cable. Don't be upset - it happens all the time. The MR2 ebrake cables are just poorly made. 90% of MR2 owners have had to replace their ebrake cables one or more times. Replacing both cables going to the rear brakes cost about $90 total. Good luck!
