i tested continuity and everything came up fine except for the window lock. my windows wont go up or down. Should i replace the switch cause of the window lock malfunction?

if the window lock switch tested bad, replace it!

It's probably the body harness that has rotted over the years. Do a search and look into it before you replace the switch.

Window lock button shouldn't keep the driver's side window from rolling down. If neither window is working, my bet is on a bad ground wire in the driver's side door harness.

yes both are not working.

im going to gamble and get just the harness, if it isnt it then ill get the door harness.

actually i tested the door lock wrong, i retested and the switch is completely fine.
