Why do some cars have the black top? Was it ever done from the factory?

Some cars? as in some mr2's or cars in general?

Come camaro's, the eagle talons, and some others came factory with a black top... Mr2's however never did...

Some cars look good with the top black, I like some mr2's like that.. More than not I prefer the solid color to show off the lines of the car more

I didn't know u had an MKI. Look's clean. Still doesn't compare to ur MKII though hehe. My friend just picked up a silver '86 Hardtop manual widows w/ Spyder wheels, in excellent shape. I'm soo jealous. Makes me miss my MKI
