Has anyone else measured their 3S block main journal bore diameters for roundness? I tore down a gen3 engine and decided to check the main journal bore diameter and found the horizontal measurements to be within the tight Toyota spec (within the range of 0.0002"), but the vertical (main cap to block direction) to be out by as much as 0.0010". That would technically be 5x that of the spec. I just checked another gen2 block I have laying around, and it was out of spec too (0.0006"), but much less than the gen3. At what point do these blocks need a line bore/hone?
