Hey everyone, I’m in the process of needing too replace the oil pump o ring, and I am looking for as much information that is gonna assist me in replacing it, starting from how to even get too the oil pump. I have a 1992 toyota mr2 N/A. Can anyone please tutorial kind information. Thanks in advance

A factory shop manual will detail the steps. Or perhaps you can find a video on youtube. It's not easy to do with the engine in the car. The oil pump is driven by the timing belt, so servicing its seals is as bad as a timing belt job and then some more.

is it still possible too do this install without having too pull the engine and fully removing the timing belt

Yes, in the car. No the timing belt must be removed to get at the oil pump.

If you're that far in, do the timing belt and water pump.

Also replace the front crank t-seal.

Having the same issue with mine. Don’t want waste time or money anymore on the 5sfe so I’m doing a v6 swap now.
