How active should the BOV be? Lately I hear my BOV a lot. Like every couple minutes while driving on the expressway.

Are running with the OEM BOV? I don’t hear a thing. Last week I heard rumbling noise during acceleration, turned it was due to me took out the resonator. I put it back in, the noise is gone.

The BOV should only activate when you lift off the throttle and create vacuum in the intake manifold. Although at cruising speeds you don't really produce much boost so the BOV can float if you are on and off the throttle a little bit.

Pretty sure it’s stock. At least I can say with certainty that I haven’t changed it. The prior owner did change the turbo so I guess there’s a chance it could have been swapped out.
