Disregard. Problem resolved.
Guys
Where should I check for not charging issue. Battery, seatbelt and E- brake lights are on. Engine off or running I’m getting 10-11v. Alternator tested good. Put in a rebuilt by a shop still not getting 13-14v.
TIA

What was your resolution?
The original ALT was good, there was a short in my DIY daytime running light caused dash lights to come on. I took the ALT out knowing that it’s about time to replace or rebuild anyway. It was covered in gunk and dirt. Took it to a local shop, they took mine and gave me a rebuilt DENSO unit since I didn’t wanna wait. It wasn’t free, $103.
installed the rebuilt, drive for about 20 minutes it stopped charging. The BATTERY light lit up. Voltage only showed 11v. I drove to the shop, they tested the voltage it’s 11v, they said take it off the car bring it back for a repair. By this time, I’m really good at dropping the ALT. It took me about 30 minutes.

As soon as I had it out, I heard a rattling sound inside the back cover, I hurriedly opened the cover, one of the 2 screws holding the brush, was loose. So I screwed it back in, took it to the shop they tested it, it was good to go. I guess is that they didn’t tighten the screw, bench tested stamped it OK. Once I installed it and drove it around, the screw rattles loose. Moral of the story is rebuilt some time good…… I had 3 ALT rebuilt by this shop in the past 10 yrs, and had no issues with their work until now. Oh well, at least now I’m REALLY good with dropping the ALT.
Thanks for reading this long winded reply.
