Hello, I just recently bought an 85 mr2 5 speed. I am new to the chassis and don't know much about the car itself. The brake lights and hazards work but the reverse lights don't turn on. I assumed the bulbs were bad but I found out they weren't even in. After replacing them with the proper bulbs, They still don't turn on. What fuses/relays/switches do I have to check to begin diagnosis?

Hello! I have an '89 and the electrical diagram could be different. Check the "TAIL" fuse. If you can DM me your email address I can send you the BGB (or you can try to find one on-line).

There's a switch on the transmission that closes to turn them on when you shift into reverse. If that's disconnected or broken that will do it.
