New auto-x tires, '92 wheels

Ok, I posted this in the "Parts For Sale" section and it got shunted to the 3rd page without any interest whatsoever. So, I figure this forum is more likely to be interested. To Moderators: I realize that this could be considered a "double post," but considering the lack of interest of your average "Parts For Sale" shopper, I humbly request that you leave this post where it is. (Though if you delete it, I'll understand why). ANYWAY:

Auto-x season is almost here, and you know you want some racing slicks! Here?s the deal:

Four brand-spanking-new Kumho ECSTA V710s (205/55WR-14 front, 225/50WR-14 rear), heat-cycled by the Tire Rack, mounted and balanced on a set of '92 MR2 alloy wheels, and some lug-nuts (only enough for three wheels, I'm missing some of them). I got the tires in September, and had them mounted and balanced the DAY BEFORE my MR2 got totaled. I just bought an S2000, so I obviously can?t use them. From the Tire Rack, the tires would cost $548, the heat cycling would be another $60, shipping would be $35, and mounting and balancing at a shop would be ~$60. That total is $703, and that's not including a set of wheels if you were to buy them. Here's my asking price: $600 for the whole shebang. If you want them shipped (instead of coming to my apartment to pick them up, which would be much easier), add on another $75. I just want to get these damn things out of my garage. Like I said, the tires are brand new, never touched tarmac. But the wheels have a fair amount of curb-rash. Other than that, they are perfectly serviceable wheels, with brand new alloy valve stems.

Here are some pics. Click on the thumbnails to get bigger images. Full res images can be emailed to you upon request.

Eric

will you let it go cheaper?
Not really, maybe a little cheaper if I don't get any bites once auto-x season starts. In my opinion that's a pretty smoking deal as is...

Sorry, man... I was still a bit on the fence about getting another MR2 three weeks ago, before I finally bit the bullet and bought the S2K... Otherwise I would have put them up sooner... But, hey, you can always use some spare tires, right? ;)

heheh

wanna start me on a payment plan ;)
I might be your man. But I've got a 93 (n/a). Will the 14" wheels fit the 93? Can I run ES with these rims on a 93?
You cannot run in ES with 14 inch wheels on a 93.

They definitely won't fit the 93 turbos, but they may fit the NAs.

Wow, never thought of that... Would that put him in SP class? Going DOWN a wheel/tire size, and getting put into SP wouldn't be so cool, especially if that's your only mod...

Is it sold yet? I will be very interested in about 2 weeks once my autocrosser is ready to go. All it needs now is tires!

Sorry, they're sold... Thanks for the interest anyway,
Eric
