I just recently rebuilt the 5SFE in my '91 MR2 and got it all back together, started it and it is running real super pig rich. It's not missing, hitting on all 4 cylinders, and the cams were set on TDC with the crank at TDC. There is a couple of electrical plugs I swear I couldn't find where they plug in. One was a white female plug that looks like it's coming out of the wiring harness going to the ECM. Also the timing mark is jumping all over and not sitting in one place. Everything is new, new cams, new pistons, rod bearings, mains etc etc.

If I have to, I can get pictures of the electrical plugs I'm referring to if that would help out.

Thanks for any help.

It is supposed to do that. Read the sticky on Timing Advance if you don't understand how to get an accurate ignition timing reading. You have to jumper two terminals in the diagnostic box.
