I am rebuilding the rear calipers on my '88 and I'm hoping someone within a day's drive from Bellingham, Washington, US might have a caliper rebuild SST that I could borrow. I'm told is the same tool for a Mk1, Mk2, or an AE86, so any of those would be great. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I've been working on cars for 53 years and I have a professional grade kit similar to yours but I only use it when the piston must be turned when the piston is compressed. I find it faster and easier to just use a fast-action bar clamp or fast-action C-clamp. I could have had the piston compressed and the pads in in the time you took to get the piston compressed. And with speed clamps you eliminate almost all the turning of the screw. If you like, you can just put an old brake pad on top of the piston to make sure you don't push the piston in more than necessary but that's really not necessary. Sometimes, simple is better and sometimes special tools only make jobs harder.
