Nearing the end of a build journey and I just was hoping in one place to get advice on where to wire power and ground for the gauges themselves and the lighting for the gauges. These are all autometer 52mm sport comps.

I am fine with the lights always being on (don’t need to turn on with headlights only) so I was going to wire them into the cig lighter. My plan was to tie all three lights from each gauge together and then run one power and one ground To the cigarette lighter. Where would you suggest for a good ground?

next is the power and ground for the actual gauges themselves. I’m guessing it would be too much to include these in the same wiring as the gauge lights. Best suggestions on where to wire these up power and ground?

If you have an aftermarket radio I would tap into the non factory side of the radio wire harness for everything. You can get switched 12v, ground, and lights from the radio harness all in one spot. Don't cut into the factory harness.
