Why not? Just lift the rear of the car up high enough and you can slide the motor out after dropping it onto a home-built engine mover... or failing that, a piece of carpet (just drag it out).

Some people even bolt it back onto the crossmember and put the wheels back on to roll it around.

What swap is it anyway? Some MR2 owners have lifts in their garages around here :p

Doing the swap is by no means easy, if you haven't already bought the engine yet then i really reccomend buying a clip so you won't have to worry about the wiring harness, shifter cables, ecu, etc...
Mikey from Apex has done a few MR2 swaps before and knows the wiring really good also.
