ok here's whats going.... under heavy acceleration, the the motors revs and it feels like it takes a second or two for the tranny to catch and then accelerate. So i think the the clutch is slipping, but now i got a new prob. When i shift into 3rd gear and let off the clutch, the shifter gets kicked back out, and i'll have to try a couple more times to get it to stay. Would this be another sign of a clutch slipping? Or should i be looking at maybe the shift cables? I just replaced the main one that connects to the shifter about 4 months ago. Im really at a lost here, so any help is greatly appreciated.

Bad clutch or bad synchros would explain the pop out.

thats what i was thinking, i've got a clutch on the way, so, im gonna do that and see where what happens from there. Im just trying to get different views. thanks.
