Hey guys- I'm reading up on the SCCA rules; been to a few events but haven't run in one before. I'm hoping to start this season.

I think my car falls into SM2, can anyone confirm this? Here are my mods-
Spyder wheels 15" (oem is 14")
TRD Header
HKS Exhaust
HKS oversize crank pulley
TRD clutch
Tokico illuminas
Polyurethane suspension bushings

I think all those mods allow me to be in SPC except the crank pulley boots me into SM2. Is this correct?

How competitive is this class? I totally expect to be at the bottom of the pile anyway and the most important part is that I just get out there and have fun, but- am I going to be completely humiliated? :(

Very excited about this either way!
Thanks
Brett

You're right, all except for the crank pulley are legal in CSP (an undersize accessory pulley would be legal, but an oversize supercharger pulley changes the boost and therefore isn't allowed).

Both CSP and SM2 can be very fast classes. Which one is faster depends heavily on who the competitors are in each class, and how well they have prepared their cars. You'll see more variation in times within each class than between the fastest drivers in each.
