I was at the drag strip yesterday and had my boost set to 15psi using a MBC.
I realised that the boost wasn't hitting 15psi, but only 0.8bar (12psi)
on my 3rd run, i hit fuel cut and pulled out only to find that the vac line to the MBC came off. I fixed this up, but still hit fuel cut on the next run.
could a faulty FCD cause this to happen?? Or could it have been knock??
on my final few runs, i disconnected the line to the turbo pressure sensor and watch the boost gauge read 15psi. there were no problems with fuel cut since.
everything is back to normal now and i run 15psi of boost. was wondering why on earth did is happen at the drags...

If your HKS FCD is hooked up properly, then you have RAISED fuel cut to 17.5 psi, not eliminated. There is no need to use the HKS FCD to eliminate FC, you can do that for free by plugging the vac line to the OEM map sensor.
