Howdy from Davis...

I'm racing tomorrow in the SCCA Boondoggle autocross tomorrow, but I need a set of signal generators (located inside the distributor). I plan to hit Pick-n-Pull tomorrow morning with the hope of finding a set.

If you've got a set I could buy/borrow, please call me until 700AM tomorrow morning... I'm willing to drive up to two hours RIGHT NOW!!!

So is that what was causing the stuttering? I hope you can get this sorted out before tomorrow! Burning the proverbial midnight oil before a race sucks... I feel your pain.

Done! This is a GREAT Group of People!!!

Dex (aka MR2Simplistic) is the best dude in the world -- he had a spare that is gonna let me race tomorrow! And Zac (aka Zymosis) called to offer to be a second driver in his sweet SC AW11. Many thanks, and I owe you both BIG TIME!

In short, one of the signal generators in my distributor "unwound" the string and angelhair copper windings, which caused a high RPM stutter. Problem solved, and the Junkyard Dawg lives again!
