After letting my engine soak for a couple days with a mixture of tranny fluid and WD 40 in the combustion chambers, my JDM 4agze seems to be reborn. I just ran a test and got ~150 psi on all four cylinders!!!

For those who didn't read my boat-anchor thread, the JDM 4agze I bought initally showed compression of 30, 120, 90 and 90 -- and I thought it was trash. The seller said it had been sitting awhile and the rings might be stuck. He suggested spraying WD40 in the cylinders and letting them soak.

Before running the test I cranked the engine a few times to clear out the fluid, then let it sit for an hour so any residual fluid would drain away.

I hope that worked and I'm not getting a false high reading -- but the motor sure seems to be fine at this point. What a relief!

Good to hear. I'd check it again in a few days, the wd40 should be all gone by then.
