MKII Mr2 V6 rear clip... Fully Fed-legal, OBDII compliant, and Plug & Play

To begin with. Let me say this... A V6 plug-n-play solution. Dan & I did the work already. Just bolt it in.

For the V6 clip... I'm honestly looking for about 4.5K - 4K complete. As a half-cut... Or I would consider selling the engine separate. This is a V6 Plug-n-Play solution for the MKII Mr2.

This swap was 100% OBDII compliant including the OBDII port in the mid line of the engine. All electrical joints were soldered and shrinkwrapped for longevity. It was done with a full 2001 Solara power-train. Fed-legal (not good if you live in Cali.) And should pass smog w/o a problem.

It would include:

2001 engine, Fed-legal (36K-ish miles)
Stock V6 Flywheel.
2001 ECU (reprogrammed to exclude the immobilizer functions.)
Engine Harness that has already been wired into the Mr2 body harness. It will plug into the junction box in the back left corner of the engine bay. The work has already BEEN DONE FOR YOU. Plug-n-Play...
Modified fuel rails (Earl's fittings at both ends for Adj. FPR and return-style fuel system.)
Aeromotive Adjustable FPR.
Stainless steel braided fuel lines w/ Earl's fittings.
Stock exhaust manifolds.
Downpipes and collector.
Flexpipe and exhaust pipe (that was made to clear the X-member.)
Stock V6 catalytic.
3rd o2 sensor.
Custom cold-air box.
Intake tube w/ Maf and filter.
EVAP/Emissions canister w/ sensors and harness. (also all the tubes that I used to run from engine to tank.
Altenator and belt.
Cooling pipes for radiator and heater core.
Passenger side coolant supply/filler-pipe solution.

Right-side engine mount (that had to be constructed for the V6.)

2001Solara/1991Turbo Frankentranny.
Proper tranny mounts to bolt right up to the factory Mr2 tranny locations.
1991 6-bolt axles, passenger side modified to re-locate the carrier bearing to fit the V6.
Carrier bearing was brand new when the mod was performed by FleetPride.
Has Speedsource Shifter bushings.
Stock V6 Clutch (which amazed me how well it grabs and holds the Tq w/o slipping.)

I'd include the 2001 Frankentranny, axles and mounts for my asking price, or would keep it for my next V6 project if interest isn't there. The Frankentranny has all of the V6 gearing in an Mr2 casing. (1991 casing w/ 2001 V6 internals.) It will bolt right into the Mr2 in stock tranny locations.
The tranny was rebuilt when the swap was performed in May 2004. And a quote from the shop when I came to them w/ 2 trannys (1991 and 2001) and left w/ one tranny and some parts... "I don't really know exactly what you are trying to achieve here... But both of these trannys were mint to begin with."

If interested or have any questions, Please e-mail me at [email protected] OR feel free to call me on my cell at 315-491-9126.

Thanks guys!

Sent an e-mail to the possible buyer on Feb 8th, and still no responce.

I'll entertain offers for no less than 4K. Depends on shipping costs.

Kind of sad I have a nice MR2 down here in Ithaca with no motor, and you have a wrecked car with a V6 setup waiting to go into another chasis... besides not having all the money I really don't think I'd be happy with an n/a MR2 though...

Yeah, not everyone can rock the yellow  It is stock Toyota yellow though, not some aftermarket paint.

Why sell it? Why not just swap it in?
