Oh, I should probably mention I'm a '91 running the 14" wheels.

1/4 inch wheel spacers can be had for next to nothing on eBay. Do a search using "wheel spacer 1/4". Four can be had for less than $20! just make sure you get a 5 or 10 hole model. :banana

Can someone post a pic of the 225 kuhmos mounted on the stock rear 14x7 wheels. I just got a set of 225's in today and I think they are very much wider. I really don't think they are going to work although I see people posting they do.

Not sure what you're asking....? Since we stopped using 205 Vitoracers, literally EVERYONE on r-comps runs a 225 on the rear in Stock class. The stock tire size for '93+ cars on the 15x7 wheels is 225. Tell your tire guy to put 'em on, then go have fun.

Welcome to stock class - get used to cramming TONS of tire on not enough wheel. At least they're not the 275/35s that some of these jokers run on the same 7" wide wheel :lol:

It has been taken down. It was hosted on an old work server that has been decommissioned. I honestly figured that this was no longer used.

I'm running a '93 N/A. I've upgraded the front sway bar (Addco) which has helped the oversteer greatly. Looking at the Hankook R-S3 (revision 2) to upgrade tires. But the driver needs a lot of improvement most.

I'm running my MR2 Spyder in ES. Car is stock except for 1" Addco front swaybar.
Running Bridgestone RE 11s. Currently first in class this season.

Richard, does your Spyder have a LSD differential? I know another guy with a 2003 MRS that does have the LSD and it just doesn't seem like an even playing field to have both the N/A MKII and MKIII in the same autoX class.

It's impossible to have every car be competitive in its class. In every class there will be some faster cars and some slower. I agree with you that I think a spyder would be faster than a N/A MK2 given the street class rules. That being said a 93 MR2 got 4th place and trophied at the Wilmington Tour last weekend out of 10.

No My 2001 Spyder doesn't have LSD. Thing is I rarely run against MkII MR2s. They just don't usually show up. I do have a 2004 MR2 Spyder that does have an LSD. I've autocrossed it only once. It was just half a second faster than my 2001.

Neither is .8 seconds per day. :madrun:

Eric has put a lot of time on me both times we have run the big courses on that lot.

To the LSD vs non LSD talk. back in the day it was common knowledge that the 00-03 was the better auto-x car without the LSD. Saying that, I believe a portion of that was due to the 16" rear wheel, something that can be changed under the current rules. No one is nationally running a 04+ (that I am aware of) and Eric and I both do not have LSDs in our cars.
