17 x 8 in front and 18 x 9 in the rear with ideal size tires, if 18's will clear the front, id like to go 18's all around.

Will the rear rub on eibach prokits and tokicko illumina struts? Can i run a 18 in the front without rubbing? This is on a 1991 NA converted to turbo, so id like to know the ideal size for wheels and offsets. Thanks to everyone for their help in advance

With 8" wheels up front you have a very small range of offsets that will fit. If you want flush, then +35 both front and rear with and 8/9" combo is perfectly flush. You can go as high as about +40 (I think) before hitting the suspension in front. Rear you have a little more room to play with.

WyrmMaster,

When you say the 8/9 combo...are you referring to 17 with 18 in the reare with both +35 offset?

Thanks in advance!

He was referring to the widths... +35 IS perfect for the 8"f/9"r whether you do 17f/18r or 18 all around.

215/40-17f (or 225/35-17 but VERY limited availability)
255/35 or 265/35r... a 245/35 would work as well, but I'm not sure. What you can stick in back (without rubbing) will be dependent on your offset.

This is more or less correct. You can also run 35 series front and rear (play around with the calc to get an idea of how much it affects everything). The rears would fit a 235 stretched, but that also means it is more likely to avoid rubbing. Just depends what you want.
