Ok I just bought this mr2 and I cant get the dipstick into the dipstick tube. The guy I bought it from just stuck it in there as far as it goes and let it leak. It looks like the factory one and I have even tried my 99 carmy dipstick and it doesnt fit either. I took the one from mr2 and put it in my carmy and it did get stuck about the same point but i was able to push it alittle and went in and read fine. It goes all the way to where it would go through the block hole and then stops like its hitting something hard. Im trying to avoid takeing off the oil pan but looks like thats what is going to have to happen. are these stick suppose to be striaght with no bends other than the quick bend at the top? Any ideas?

Thanks
Matt
